DEDICATIO To our new school, to our parents, teachers, and the people of our community who made this new school possible, we, the class of 1951, do dedicate this yearbook. We are the first class to be graduated from this school. At the beginning of this year it was new and strange to us, but we have grown to love and respect it. May all the classes that follow us learn to appreciate the New Howland High School as we have. Without the help of our parents, teachers, and the other people of the community, this school, of which we are so proud, could never have been possible. Through the sacrifices made by the people of Howland, their will- ingness to do whatever necessary, and their co-operation in planning and constructing, we now have our new school. It is not the building alone, however, that makes our school great. Our faculty and advisors, the school board - these are the people who make our school more than just a building. Through their 'patience and will- ingness to help, they have given us an education that we will never forget - not only in academic subjects, but in getting along with people, and preparing to take our place in the world. As we go out these doors of Howland High, what we have learned here will not be forgotten, and we will have the memories of this, our school, forever.
