Bouchard SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The first meeting of the year was called to order by the outgoing president, Warren Neal, for the purpose of electing a new slate of officers Officers elected were President, Ann Violette, Vice Prestdent, Warren Neal, Secre tary Etlene Powers, who was replaced by Lorraine Pelkey after she returned to Stearns High of Mlllinockett Treasurer, Rene Mae Bouchard Elected to Student Counctl was Richard Buck and as Business Manager, Judy Currie Rrch ard York and Edward Pekley were given the responstbtlity of takmg care of the pop machine Barbara Currie, Norma Batchelder and Robert Henderson the candy The first money making proyect undertaken by the class was the sponsormg of a Hunter s Breakfast which will prove to be one of the most profitable pro iects as S140 was realized by this undertaking Next we sold sweatshirts, ker chiefs, etc On January 9th a Record Hop with Jim Winters was held Other money making projects planned for the remainder of the year are Easter Ball which will be sponsored by our parents, the annual Penny Camival, which we inherit as Seniors, also we plan to hold a Cabaret the same evening, another Record I-lop, and a raffle for a fishing pole and all equipment Many meetings were taken up discussing our class trip At this printing the lnayorlty of the members want to go to New York Whether or not we go de pends on how much money we have available come the Sprxng vacation COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES Baccalaureate will be held at the Town Hall on Sunday, I une 'ith Class Night wrll be held on Monday evening, June 8th Graduation is to be held Tuesday evening, June 9th Earl Squlers has been selected as our Class Marshal.
