The learn was made up of basketball players and one boy. Mike Seagly. who was on the Rifle team. Those who played from the basketball team were Arnold. Neidballa. Wy att. Smith. D. P.. and Houton. The team had to defeat LaGrange and Woleottyille before they earned the right to unseat Topeka. defending champions in the Hnals. Both games with LaGrange and Wolf-ottville had to go to three games in a best of three series before the Cadets were declared winners but in the finals it only took two games. The teams seemed to get better as the night wore on. a sure sign of not too much practic-e.

Schleicher and Smith. D. P. in the broad jump. Kirk and Donkin in the sprints and Bowman and Case in the half mile will perform for Howe. Hoping to gain re- venge over LaGrange in the County Track Meet the Cadets will have to really get in shape by the time the meet starts. -L1 1' '- see' ' '

Mr. Jones says that with any breaks at all the team should really go places and have the best record seen around here for quite awhile. Featured by B Companys strong. league-winning football team and C Company's rugged basketball team. both seasons had their share of thrills. B Company's strong gridders. coached by Capt. Greenwood. literally swept through the intramural league. with second-place A Company giving them some rugged opposition. ln basketball. C Company was the dominating factor. The C men led the league throughout the season and downed a determined B Company five in the play-offs. The Spring softball season is not started yet but itls a good bet that it will be just as interesting as the other sports.
