Given an opportunity to grow and mature, these faces will guide tomorrow 's destinies. And what a time tomorrow will be. But with each passing year, there is a new tomor- row, and a new group of students in Howe School. Memories are all that will be left soong therefore this annual is a treasure of time, as time passes on, This is your record of School Year '72, With Pride the Annual Staffpresents: .1 nl The 1972 Spotlight o Howe School , gat, Si. The Juniors labored long and hard to present the Banquet and Prom to the Seniors. They arranged a meal fit for a king to be served at the Holiday Inn. The class will and prophesy were read for everyone's entertainment. After the banquet, the band Dead Weight played, as everyone exercised off their meal. Many hours later several tired sponsors and many a happy student arrived back home, with yet another wonderful memory stored way in his head. To the Juniors, from the Seniors, MANY THANKS! We traveled to Sandy Lake and found a Fun Paradise. We swam in the world 's largest pool, played golf, rode in paddle boats, and thrilled to the exciting rides. For lunch we were filled with a Bar-B-Que dinner catered to us at the park. lt proved a worthwhile day for all concerned. On the way home the Seniors were given a little extra fun. They were treated to the experience of having a flat tire. While waiting for the spare to arrive, they played such games as: mud ball throw, and mass sit-in. Howe FHA. 55 Members Strong This year the F. H.A. was a very active group. They were active in many civic- ,MAKERS minded activities. The year began by an installation banquet for officers and 1 f members. Over the year they sponsored a Cancer Fund Drive, helped support the K, Denton State School, beautified the school campus by planning flower beds and sponsoring a clean-up campaign, collected food for the needy at Christmas, and held two Simplicity style shows for the school and community. They organized a P'pb Talent Show to raise money for the group. They also planned many fun activities 4, 4,5 for the school during F, H.A. Week, one of which was Freshman Recognition. As NE W J' always they participated in the Howe and Loy Lake Stock Show. They also sent delegates to the Area and State meetings. And for all the busy members, a time of fun was held, a Skating Party, So as you can see they were a very active and beneficial group. An Always A ctive Group of Girls FHA.
