PRESIDENT NABRIT TO RETIRE IN JUNE After more than thirty years of service to Howard University, Dr. James Madison Nabrit is retiring. As of Juno 30, 1969, he will no longer have to bear the burden of the most important and sensitive position in the University; that of its President Dr Nabrit has always attempted to make Howard University a place where the desire for academic excellence was the first and foremost concern oi everyone In his years at the University Dr Nabnt has gamed the love, admirction and respect of the entire University community; and has been the capable leader of students, faculty end administrators Upon his retirement he intends to spend the majority of his time writing and traveling. 2K
