Franklin also leaves the squad with a diploma ORLAFF HUSTON Hoot sub forward has another year to play His speed and experience should make him a valuable man next vear GRAFTON FYE Fve was a regular on the second team and subbed on the first With three more years in xx hich to develop he should leave school wlth much good work to his C19d1t SECOND TEAM SQUAD The chief purpose of a second squad is to help tram the first team In dolng this the second team players learn the game and earn outstanding SQFVICQ the second string lads haxe performed this year The lineup was changed too frequently and the play ers were too in experienced to weld together a strong team one that would compare with our undefeated second team last year But even this year our youngsters made a total of 174 points to their opponent s total of 126 Second teams are very important when a school loses 1ts entire first team by graduation as IS the case with us this year The showing made by the second team boys near the end of the season IS encourag ing for the team of 1926 27 Howard 30 Lincoln 6 Howard 28 Unlon 1 Howard 19 Bunker Hill 23 Howard 16 Greentown 18 Page fifty three 1 u , 3 , , ,.
