WALKER MEMORIAL LIBRA ' Howcl PcajnLCfrlUcjL Foreword Perhaps the goal of any yearbook is an accurate portrayal of student life in every phase. In this Lasso, we have tried to go a little beyond accuracy — we have tried to capture for you the warmth and vitality of our lives together on this campus. Now and later, we hope this Lasso will be to you a crystalization of the aspects and attitudes that belong only to Howard Payne — that spirit that makes Howard Payne mean what it does to all of us. Within its walls are memories of book reports, test grades, chapel rolls, even the beginning of romance. Every student has found a challenge within these walls. The picture of this building will always be symbolic of personal achievement to every Howard Payne Yellowjacket. LJ.
