ADMINISTRATION Judge Roy Bean, considered law West of the Pecos, was such an admirer of Jersey Lily Langtry that he decided to change the name of his town from Vinegaroon to Langtry. He had every- thing all arranged with the exception of some new signs; so he sent his men out to find a couple of painters and to accuse them of vagrancy.
