LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Senior Class of Howard High School, City of Nashville, County of Davidson, and State of Ten- nessee, being of unsound mind and failing memory, do make, publish and declare this our last will and testament in manner and form as follows: First: To our successors, the Juniors, we bequeath our many senior privileges, our enthusiasm for sports, proms and senior picnics, and above all the quiet dig- nity which we, as seniors, have possessed. Second: to the Sophomores, we bequeath our love for study Gy, our honor of the school, and respect for our teachers. F Third: To the Freshmen, we bequeath our superior intelligence, our willingness to work, and our school spirit. Fourth: To the Junior High School, we bequeath our ability to take our time to get to class, and all our worldly knowledge. Fifth: To the Faculty, we bequeath our undying ad- miration for their endurance these past four years and our respect for the knowledge they have tried to drill into our minds. We now wish to dispose of the residue of our prop- erty in the following manner: I, Lois Anderson, leave my quiet ways to Patty Talley. I, Ray Austin, leave nothing for I will need it all. I, Bernice Bacigalupo, leave my long eyelashes to Shirley Mehls. I, Bobby Beck, leave the editorship of the annual to anyone who can take it. I, Sue Cantrell, leave my three lunch periods to anyone who can afford them. I, Ruby Cooke, leave my perfect attendance to Dot Pruett. I, Shirley Conwell, leave my absent mind to Vir- ginia Smith, as I would forget it anyway. I, Jean Croney, leave my A's to my sister, Dorothy. I, Bobby Dixon, leave my Howdy Doody watch to Bobby Waters. I, Maxine Durham, leave my technique on how to hold a man to the one who needs it most. I, Bobby Eakes, leave my loud mouth to Raymond Simpkins. I, Mary Ruth Freeman, leave with Gene. I, Margaret Fuller, leave my books in the locker where they have stayed all year.
