PRESIDENTIAL CLASSICS are an array of talented, young ladies chosen to represent the Howard County Junior College District for the school year. Both SWCID and HC girls are chosen. TO BECOME a Presidential Classic, the girls applying must meet certain requirements based on academic and extracurricular ac- tivities. The girls chosen must display poise, attractiveness, neatness, congenial personali- ty, and be able to make presentations before a group. THE GIRLS are offered a good scholarship. They are also furnished with two outfits to wear. They are afforded an opportunity to project their personalities in public ap- pearances such as modeling and serving as of- ficial hostesses for the district.
