Eight Ladies have been chosen to represent Howard College as Presidential Classics for the school year. They are Debbie Fulcher, Lori Phinney, Sharie Shaw, Kelli Bearden, Robin Ethridge, Brenda Salazar, Tammy Puegh, and Kristi Franklin. To become a Presidential Classic, the girls applying must meet certain re- quirements based on academic and ex- tracurricular activities. The girls chosen must display poise, attractiveness, neatness, congenial personality, and be y able to make presentations before groups. The girls are offered a goods scholar- } ship which takes care of room, books, tui- tion and fees. They are also furnished with two outfits to wear. They are afford- ed an opportunity to project their per- sonalities in public appearances such as modeling, and serving as official hostesses for the junior college.
