o,..Q'lass 351:-tnrg Just think, four short years ago, we, the 'Dignified Seniors' of '53 were shy, green freshmen The twenty one members of our class became students of Hoven High by con senting to an initiation, which was imposed upon us by the Seniors During our first year at Hoven High the following students held offices President, Harlan Rausch Vice President, Ralph Wheeler, Secretary and Trea surer, JoAnn Kaup Our Class Sponser was Mr Edwin Kaufman Our Sophmore year started with nineteen members Catherine Illies and Maurice Hettick dropped out The officers were as follows President, Robert Class Representative, Leland Jost This year we were under the capable lead ershlp of Mr Richard Fadgen At last as upper classmen, we reached our Junior year with twentyone mem- bers Donald Waldman, and Gladys Gabriel joined our ranks from Onaka, and Duaine Roesch from Gettysburg Under the leadership of Sister M Marcella we presented the class play 'Under Twenty', which was a grand success The Junior Senior Prom, also under direction of Sister Marcella, turned out scenic picture, by using 'April Showers' as a theme Class Officers were President, Alice Rausch Vice President, Ralph wheel er,Secretary and Treasurer, Duaine Roesch Class Representative, Alfred Heuer Now right look back over honors won in presented, the back to the present with twenty one 'Dignified Seniors' As we the four years, we see and remember well our scholastic honors, music and declamation Then there is the Senior play which we eyhound, and the Purple and Grey paper which we published This year, Queen Juanita Hartung and Marshall Harlan Bausch, reigned over Pixy Day festivals Leland Jost, as Student Body President, directed all Our Class officers were President Ronald Litzen Vice President, Harlan Rausch Secretary, Alice Rausch Treasurer, Juanita Hartung, Student Council Representative, Leo John Artz In the name of the Senior Class of '53, we would like to express our sin cere thanks to Mr Novak for his guidance through our High School days They shall always be treasured memories Class Colors ., urple and Greg Class lowerw M7b.i'E 11 Moffoa on nobis, sed omni us.
