Will and Tesfamenl ccontl EDWARD, RAUSCH wills his shortness to Joyce Spindler and his ability to misunderstand words to Mary Ann Brehmer BETTE BERINGER wills her thoughtfulness to Alice Rausch and her singing ability to Lavonne Bitzer JAM Q LL1gE ,w1lls his height to Harlan Rausch and his careful driving to Janice Simon VIRGINIA SCHMIDT wills her knowledge of shorthand to Betty Rose Arbach and her note book to Bobby Simon PETER HARTUNG wills his ability to operate the mimeograph to Dennis Titgen and his good looking neighbors in the assembly to James Lemler VIOLA BEITELSPAQEER wills her place in the band to Mary Ann Brehner and her musical ability to her sister Violet ARTHUR HARTUNG wills his ability to sleep in the assembly to his brother Leo and his desk in the assembly to Richard Huber LEO SCHERR wills his ability to get along with the teachers to Roger Klein and his tuba to Norman Simon DONALD HAQEMAN wills his basketball letter to Royce Lee Hackl and his football uniform to Lloyd Rausch DEAN GIEBE leaves his sense of h mor to Janet Spindler and his love for cookies to Roger Klein EUGENE KOEHN leaves his freckles to Merlci Schaefer and his basketball shoes to Ronald Litzen GORDON ARMSTRONG wills his brains to Leo John Artz and his studious habits to Robert Wendllng In the School the number admitted in C ass lstor fall of l9b6, thirty one FRESHMEN were admitted to Hoven High these, only one dropped out, namely Roger Theunlssen This left of FRESHMEN at thirty, which was the largest freshmen class the history of Hoven High School The following year Gordon Armstrong, Donald Hauck, Virginia Schmidt Harry and Marlin Dutt entered Hoven High as SOPHOMORES However, Mary Jo Duffy, Cletus Mulloy and Arnold Schmidt left Hoven and attended schools elsewhere This brought the number of SOPHOMORES to thirty two This year Betty Bertha and Donald Hauck were candidates for Pixy Queen and Marshal In their JUNIQR year the class numbered thirty one Donald Rondorf and Dennis Titgen dropped out and Rosemarie Kaiser came in This year the candidates for Pixy Queen and Marshal were Regina Rausch and Dean Giese MUSIC IN THE VALLEY' was selected as their class play which was presented on December 5, 1948 n May l9b9 the annual JUNIORPSENIOR banquet and prom was held The Juniors planned the decorations in which the Dutch theme was carried out In September 1949 the FREEBIES of l9b6 were SENIORS at last Their number still remained at thirty one since no one left or came during that year The class was proud of the fact that it was the largest to graduate from Hoven High School The members of this class participated in the various extra curricular activities offered, as glee club, dramatics, declam band, football, basketball and track l Q .
