Senior Prophecy Extra! Extra! Read all about it! uHot-rod Charlie suffers from shock after winning the United States Championship race.n Thus, goes the newsboy chant at the corner of Holly- wood and Vine in Los Angeles in August of 1975. Details of the story tells of Charles Ray Walk entering City Hospital after winning a grueling 1000 mile hot-rod race. We decide to call upon Charlie as we knew him in '55 at Houstonia' High. His nurse, Norma Bechtel, tells us we will have to wait until to- morrow to visit. But she takes time off to chat about our fellow class- mates from H. H. S. Norma corresppnds regularly with Lula Belle Baker who is now the wife of a drum er in nKearney's Momba Band.' She is also employed at an office for a trucking firm as secretary. Norma says too that Frank Russell Charles, known as the world's greatest conservationist, is now one of the big guns in Washington, D.C. He is very ably assisted by Lloyd Shireman who manages very well with his ever-present helpmate, Barbara Anne Reid. After this brief chat with Nurse Bechtel, we stroll into a nearby cafe, the famous , Brown Derby for lunch, and who should call for our order, but waitress Tiny Gerlt. Tiny has enjoyed living in many parts of the United States in her job of waitress at many of the better-known eat- ing establishments. Tiny reports that in an adjoining room reserved for special occasions Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hem a of Sweet Springs are cele- brating their twentieth anniversary. Mrs. Hemme is the former Barbara Welch, with them on this happy event are Mr, and Mrs. Jerry Edwards. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards run a private school for children of the Hollywood stars and four of their own little grandchildren. Tiny says that all that are left in the Houstonia neighborhood are Jimmie Reid, Mary Tuck- willer, and Joyce Charles. Joyce and her husband Raymond Charles are living near Houstonia, where Raymond owns a garage. Joyce is busily keeping house and caring for her three children who attending Houstonia High School. Mary Tuckwiller, who makes tours all over the world, is now vaca- tioning at her home near Houstonia. Mary just finished making her tour to Europe to speak on the subject of nProblems of Child Care. Her hobby is trying to improve on her jet-propelled auto which she drives speedily from one part of the United States to another. Jimmie Reid who owns the Reid Hampshire Farm is- busily caring for his hogs and his wife, Betty, and daughter, who is attending Stephens College at Columbia, Missouri. Jimmie owns the largest hog ranch ever known to be. Class Motto: Uwe have reached the starting pointg our goal is still ahead---Not for Ourselves, but for Others.
