L ater, students from this V o c at i onal Center visited Houston-Woods with their instructors, Mr. Sam Wieciech and Mrs. Beulah Hyre, to learn how to style Negroid hair. These exchanges proved to be an invaluable experience for both groups. 05l'l'l0t0!0gg Cosmetology offers unlimited opportunities for. students who accept the challenges of adjusting to rapid changes and learning new skills. The course is divided into areas of related cosmetologyyanatomy, and practice. Special requirements are set up by the Department of Education and the State Board of Cosmetologists. In three years, students must complete 1500-hours of training. Under the supervision of a state examiner, they are then given an examination on the practical and theoretical phases of cosmetology.
