The course is divided into areas of related cosmetologyyanatomy, and practice. Special requirements are set up by the Department of Education and the State Board of Cosmetologists. In three years, students must complete 1500-hours of training. Under the supervision of a state examiner, they are then given an examination on the practical and theoretical phases of cosmetology.
