Class Poem We, the class of 57, are now leaving you all, In hope that the juniors will reign next fall. We want to thank the teachers so nice and kind We hope our youthful actions you didn t mind And now from the graduating class We bring a line about every lad and lass Marilyn Thompson a sweet girl is she Her favorite hobby is to watch T V Next in line comes a girl named Kaye She might like to come back and teach some day Gale would like a special pass So he wouldn t have to go to government class The romeos are Bob and Lew The freshmen girls stick to them like glue Ralph and August know their hair s not phony But we can t tell who has the Toni Then there s Glen a guy of great charm Whose ambition is to own a farm You can t beat Mary when it comes to art And from school she hates to depart Ruth gots the A s in conduct she deserved Because she s so quiet and reserved There s that handsome classmate Eddie Who claims he wants to be a bachelor already Marilyn Liette our cheerleader now ls a charmer and how? Wow' Bob Delaet shys away from golden tresses and wigs He would much rather stick to cattle and pigs Alice Michael a girl so bright Goes for a Ford that is green and white Sharon s ambition is a secretary to be Ion Wolfe a great woman charmer Most certainly won t be a farmer Our friend Bob Short is six foot two He has to lean a long way to tie his shoe jim is O K let s face the facts He outshines us all with his witty wisecracks Vera jess is cute and also a good cook She ll make a good wife note that in your book Iudy is a pretty girl a real winsome lass Everyone says she s real high class Then there s Ramona a girl so keen Who in Iim s purple Olds is always seen Dan plays forward on the basketball team But a certain sophomore is his dream Then there s Darrel who takes everything with a smile Even the girls who hang around all the while Peg Havenar a good wife will make As majorette she takes the cake Alice Parks is a good singer indeed She s always ready to help a friend in need I I , .
