They led the con- ference through most all the year, until they tied Gladwin in the Homecoming game, and were defeated by West Branch in the last game of the season. Nevertheless, our boys ended up in second place, one to be proud of. Phil Kemp was chosen for All-Conference, playing halfback. Chuck Schmidutz, end, and Harold Mosanko, halfback, were awarded Honorable Mention. Arnold Goupil and Ken Baumgartner were team captains. Arnold Goupil was named Honorable Men- tion in All-State, Many thanks to the team and Mr. Weede for the wonderful job they did. Lee is the team’s top scorer with ‘ton Lake in the top league game.
