THE VILLAGE THE HEIGHTS PRUDENVILLE In appreciation for our school buildings, and our school system, we, the BOBCAT Annual Staff, feeling lucky to live in such a co-operative com- munity, wish to dedicate this issue of the BOBCAT to our parents, to our teachers, and to allthe people of Houghton Lake who have made our graduation possible,

Through these portals, we, the class of '55, entered high school four short years ago. These have been full years -- years full of activ- ities, joys and disappointments, excitement and discouragement; through all, however, has run a continous strain of happiness that has made a rich imprint upon lives. We have earnestly endeavored to present a pictorial history of high- lights of the year's activities in these pages of the 1955 BOBCAT. Now, we, not without some feeling of reluctance, prepare to go. Others come forward to take the places that we have held as citizens of Hought on Lake High School. Time Marches on!
