Senior Class Officers vi? v Standing: Reporter, Caroline Dankertp Advisor, Miss Houghton, Student Council Representative Barbqrq Carrick. Seated: Secretary, Mary Koehler, President, Joe Keenan, Vice President, Helen MacDonald, Treusurgr Carolyn Arthur. ' CLASS HISTORY Our freshman year started off with a Bang as we were the first class to be initiated in the new school. Dick Roberts, our president, led a class to be proud of as were well represented in sports with Fred Wareing on first team basketball, 3 boys on the second team and 5 girls active on the girls basketball team. Crashing into our Sophomore year, we put the Freshman on the receiving end of initiation. 'Stairway to the Stars was the theme for our very successful talent show. Again our class held high honors in sports. Jim Tyo acted as Sophomore president. We zoomed into our Junior year with Barbara Carrick as president. We chose for our class colors, blue and silver, our flower, red rose, and our motto Do not delay, for the golden moments fly. Our class play, Handle With Care, directed by Mr. Robbins, was a great success and helped our class treasury immensely. Also to help our treasury we sold socks and hose during the year. Mardi Gras was the theme for the spring J-Hop. Our last but not least activity for our Junior year was the Junior-Senior Banquet set to the theme of Starlight, We literally exploded into our Senior year electing Joe Keenan as president. Helen MacDonald did a really wonderful iob as the chairman of homecoming and carnival. Our next activity was the Senior play 'Finders Creepers under the direction of Mr. Herbert Rees. Trying to increase our treasury we sold magazines for six weeks with the girls defeating the boys in the amount of sub- scriptions sold. Our Senior to New York, Washington, and Niagara Falls was fun and interesting as well as educational. The Juniors bid aloha to our class with a delicious meal at the Junior- Senior Banquet. At last came the never-forgotten Baccalaureate, Class night and Commencement exercises. Though we were sorry to leave our high school days, we realized we must all enter our places in the outside world. Compliments of H. B. MIMS REAL ESTATE SERVICE
