FW We, the Annual Staff of 1954, dedicate this annual to Mr, Elmer Houghton, who is now the principal of Saline High School. In his 5 years of teaching at Houghton Lake High School, he WGS recognized by his iovial, understanding and friendly manner. We congratulate and thank Mr. Houghton for his leadership in organizing Homecoming and Carnival Day, which is now an important annual event. He also, through his conservation class, made many important improvements in our school yard. By dedicating this annual to Mr. Houghton we hope to show him how much we appreciate his willing guidance through our high school days.
