It’s the low down on our one and only Mr. Newell from Betty Bobcat. If you hear a “whistle” or a “plinco” you know that Mr. Newell is very near. He’s our man! He has built us a great reputation in basketball and also in all other sports. Without him it would have been nearly impossible for us to have survived in our happy go-lucky way at H.L.H.S. the past 4 years. So our hat’s off to the best superintendent Hough- ton Lake has ever known. She’s no other than the “woman of her word”, our principal, Miss Houghton. Where Miss Houghton is concerned there’s nothing too accurate or nothing too strict. She applies our golden rules and checks to see that they are enforced. Anytime you'd like to see her just let yourself drift into the hallways when you should be elsewhere. You are sure to find her there.
