And further, He was willing to say, Not my will but thine be done, when that meant 1 , o 9 Q Q 7 ' T . , . . , . 0 , . - . the cross. Consecration in a universal, general way is easy. It costs us little to wish God well. But personal ultimate consecration is hard, and it will cost us our very lives. And God's kingdom will not come unless His will is done - in our lives, by our complete surrender and death to self and the world. Except for the cross, there is no crown. The early Christians kindled the world with the flames of their own burning.
