This, of course, refers to the college post office which is located there. One participation in the morning or eve- ning mail rush would be sufficient for a complete understanding. The chapel, preparatory school, and the Houghton College Press are all found in the Ad Building. Of these, the chapel is the most im- portant part of our life. Here many inspiring addresses are given by faculty members and in- vited speakers.

In this building, nearly all of our classrooms and the four science laboratories are located. Here dwells the science student, almost as iso- lated a case as the music major, since many after- noons and evenings are devoted to lab Work. We students have at sometime met our Water- 1oos in the Science Building. These come in the form of an unprepared lesson or an unexpected quiz. In this place, where classes defeat and are defeated, a sense of Christian sportsmanship pervades the atmosphere of every athletic encounter. At present the gymnasium facilities are too small for the increased student enrollment. How- ever, the new ath'1etic field, when completed, will greatly enhance the sports program..
