Mrs. Hazlett, Panich, W. Twaddell, L. MclV1illen, C. Wright, M. Reisdorph fEditorj THE PEBBLE STAFF On a cold, dreary day early this fall The Pebble Staff huddled together to have their first meeting. Upon them hung an important decision. But anyone who knew the class of 1950 would have known what the final outcome would be. In the year 1945 a courageous junior class had decided to publish a souvenir of their alma mater. The Pebbles from that year to this have continued with that same aim. However, we had to decide whether we would make the '49 Pebble just a souvenir or a real year book. If we did publish a year book, we realized also that much more time, work, and money would be involved. The policy of the class of 1950 has always been that of forgetting previous traditions and proceeding on our own.', With this spirit we could not help deciding to publish a real yearbook, the '49 Pebble. We trust that, in the years to come, other classes will also do their utmost to publish a yearbook worthy of this school. We have had a great deal of fun working on this yearbook. We only hope you, the reader, will enjoy reading it as much as we have enjoyed producing it. S
