Pep Band, Cheerleaders, Peppers, and T-Steppers go all-out to boost morale and that feeling of good sportsmanship. At the close of the season, after the last touchdown has been scored and the last basket made, awards are presented to proud, deserving players. Pep spirit never ends at the close of a season-it is just carried over until the next year. BAD WEATHER could never keep Mrs. Mackey from backing the Trojans on the field.

Each girl carried an exquisite bouquet of white carnations, trimmed with either black and gold or red and white satin ribbons. Then amidst the thunderous cheers of the student body the Fort Smith and the Hot Springs Home- coming Queens were crowned. To climax the ceremony, the cheerleaders led the students in cheers in honor of the royalty. The festivi- ties were repeated in the evening.
