Against a background of black and gold and red and white, our royalty reigned in their skirts and sweaters in the 1959 Football Home- Coming assembly. Hot Springs and Blytheville Queens, attended by their maids, were crowned in the beautiful morning ceremony. During the evening there were additional ceremonies at the soggy, drenched football field. After the game both Hot Springs and Blytheville royalty were honored at a dance. where the royalty, attired in a beautiful array of formals, offset the dismal weather.
