Iiogarithms haven't stymied Bob Harrison in algebra c ass. Business math, algebra, geometry, and trigon- ometry - four subjects which some students first regarded as death sentences! But they soon gained confidence that math could be as interesting a mystery as a jig-saw or a crossword puzzle. When Miss Cox added her deep purple outfits and rich humor to each and every algebra problem. the numbers seemed to fit into place automatically. Coach Brooks did just as well with his plane geometry, solid geometry, and trigonometry. His oddly shaped geometric figures fthe Uparallela- gramic outhouse, etc.J almost explained them- selves. The same sort of procedures gave Colonel Lawes good results. He injected practical ways of solving difficult math questions into the minds of his business mathematicians. Pczqe Z4 Bu!
