Long assxgnmenis or test days cause atti tudes of quietness and seriousness Most stu dents realizing that time wasted is gone forever have learned to make the most of their study periods library and study hall ,Jul l'L3 ... l clicking human minds was heard from the library with its atmosphere of intense con centration Miss Clifton librarian directed the use of four thousand books a full pamph let file and a magazine file lncluding every issue of Life magazine ever printed The numerous reference books proved a source of concise general information useful 1n writing reports and themes This year two hundred additional books were ordered some new others replace merits In spite of the large student body it served complaints about the library were few for the literature was selected with the Page 15 information entertamment or relaxation the library had no equal No intriguing shelves of books and maga zines distracted from pure old fashioned studying in Room 406 however This spacious studyarium was capable of seating many students under the watchful eye of a differ ent teacher each period but blessed in trutl were the lucky souls in Mr Moores stud hall A five minute break in the long hou when talking and stretching were encouraged relieved the tension of mind and bodv This long hour paid dividends of exenings flee from homework to many who took full ad vantage of it .Q an - .Ar .
