Why of course he will puff for them Always when Puffy puffs his little cab swells up and the smoke comes out so thlck that he cant see anyone but himself Funny now for the first time his smoke seems thin and sallow and his cab is completely deflated S eing the embarrassed look on Puffys ra the students became sympathetic Puffy they tactfully began we know how you can become so handsome and irn portant that you wont have to puff up for at tefition Education can do it for you Thats wny w re here to get an education This new word what does it mean? The semors :fe IS the gre te t Its too late to worry and besrdes weve earned the rrght Just to emoy rt scys Frances Phrlhps secretary Barbara Braughton treasurer Larrv Hubbard presxdent and Douglas Baber nce presrdent Many happy rnemorles w1ll be recallea when the 195l graduatmg class looks back over therr three years of hlgh school How could they ever forget the sophomore Jumor and semor class off1cers and the pleasant w1ll1ng way they performed therr numerous aut esl The tradlhonal Iunorr Semor Prom as glv n 1n 1950 for the precedmg class at whxch t1me the theme Land of Make Belleve was carrxed out m gay decoratlons of many colors Soft lxghts a grand orchestra an atmosphere of f6Sl1V1lY all created a dehghtful nrght of entertamment provok1ng The day after decoratlng Rrx Freld for the 1950 graduat1on the rumor class relaxed at a DICHIC at Pountatn Lake Sunshlne food and fun made that an unforgettable day The last few weeks of the sen1or year were chocked full of varlous GCl1V 1t1es such as the Semor Sllver Tea at the home of Ilmrny Dowds the Bacca laureaetee Servrce at the Frrst Methodrst Church the Graduatlon Ceremony and last but not least the Senlor Banquet wrth the speeches songs and clever floor show Before the 1951 Iun1orSen1or Prom rn the hlgh school gym a lovely re ceptlon was gxven at the home of Aleta Io Harper The stage m the lngh sch ol audltorlum was the scene of many shows and programs A few of those were the Faculty Take Off Cthe only t1me when the teachers can be safely mlmrckedl the semor class play the annual choral Sprmg Concert and the Semor W1ll Day Program At RIX Fleld on May 24 the 1mpress1ve Graduanon Ceremony was held accompan1ed by the sentrmental chorus of tears and laughter Surely none gf the members of thls class Wrll ev r grow weary of recallmg the pleasant memones and good trmes of Hot SDYIDQS I-hgh School ..
