Margaret Ann Queen, treasure: Marilyn Gore, reporter: Anna Danuser, president: Barbara Harrington, secre- tary: Kathryn Phillips, vice-president. The Iunior Red Cross is an organization which is made up ot every student in high school, and council members are elected to represent every homeroom. The council tries to instill a sense of leadership and responsi- bility in the individual, and its members are available for any kind ot iob that needs to be done. In the tall a contest was held to see that every homeroom had a hundred per cent membership in the Iunior Red Cross. During the Christmas season members sent Several of the lunior Red Cross Council members enter- tain patients at the Army and Navy General Hospital with r feshrrtents and a two-hour program which includes the Boys' Chorus, Marie Mitchell and loan Gray. packages for distribution in the wards of the Army and Navy Hospital. They also spon- sored a float in the spectacular Christmas parade this year. During the summer vaca- tions some of the members usually assist in the annual swimming lessons given on Lake Hamilton. The Iunior Red Cross was dis- continued last year in the Hot Springs High School, but this year it was reorganized and it has done a wonderful job. Platform quests crt a fall meeting are Mr. B, G.
