KEY CLUB OFFICERS Key Club schedule for the past year has been a very busy one and although it was work it proved to be very successful They sponsored a March of Dimes benefit dance and sold refreshments at a basketball game The proceeds of both totaled close to S100 given to March of Dimes Cleaning the school grounds football stadium trophies trophy cases and four new trash cans are also credited to this organization. To make extra money the club staged a car wash and made 838. The money the Key Club earned was used to send Martin Cook to Pueblo, Colorado, for the district Key Club Convention. The club had a dinner for the lo- cal Kiwanians and provided entertainment for their guests. Twomey They practiced day and night, inside the bandroom and out K G C3 Q15 rg wig o C'3 . -iw Hot Springs High School Band went to Brookings, October 18, to attend Hobo Day, State Col1ege's homecoming, and to be the official band for the pep rally. The trip, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, was made by bus. When the group stopped in Pierre for lunch Friday noon, they played a concert in the Capitol Building. Upon the band's arrival in Brookings, they marched downtown and later played for the pep rally. The band members were guests in the homes of Brookings Kiwanis Club members. Saturday they participated in the parade and attended the football game between State and the University.
