Practices were held twice a day to get the boys in condition for the first game with Provo. The Bison playing their heaviest schedule suffered several early season injuries that handicapped them throughout the season, however this did not lessen their ef- forts and every game found them doing their best regardless of injuries or opposition. This year football was instituted in the Junior High School and all equipment not issued to the A and B squads was issued to them. ,Iunior High was coached by Wm. Wilson and Ralph Sieg. Prospects for the 1953 squad look promising with only 8 of the first 22 players lost by graduation.
