.df g?gJlwQRECO3i. The Roald to Knowledge A half a score of Penn's best Have given time and thought To teaching Penn's younger set To know the things they ought. Anatomy by Dr. Stuart Was first, and scored a hit, By virtue of his ready smile, And ever sparkling wit. Bacteriology was next, And for Dr.1Lynch we're strong, Bacilli, cocci, rods, and stains In memory linger on, Materia Medica then we had, And surely thought it tough, For though Miss Wilson drilled and drilled We couldn't get the stuff. Practical nursing was good fun, 'That is-it was in class, But when Miss ,Burket supervised, What should come first came last. Miss Brown taught us Bandaging, Our thanks to her we tender. Dr. Moxey made us laughg Dietetics by lvfiss Bender. Our Pediatrics we did enjoy, For Dr. Thorpe well knew 'That stories help make facts sink in, And so he told a few. Came Medicine and Surgery, ,. At. 6:00 P. M. .each day, When tired brains can scarce retain What Drs. Rose and Goldsmith say. Dr. Hinton showed us how To, make a-splint or cast, To carry babes on Bradford frames, Make tractions taut -that last. Dr. Hirst gave us our O. B., Which made us all decide, We'd send our patients straight to him, Then we could nurse, beside. Seventyffour
