f VQWVQRECQEDV- P as FLORENCE MARTIN WILLIAMSPORT, PENNA. A friend in -need is a friend indeed! Florence has captured our hearts away with her quiet, reserved manner. She has an out' ward poise which seems impenetrable at times, but those of us who are most fortunate to know her, realize she is loving, kind, agreeable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. LYNDA BANEK WEST Roxsurw, MASS. Silence is as deep as eternity, Speech as shallow as time. How well those two lines pertain to Lynda. Very little did she ever say but what thoughts have possessed that quiet mind. As our class president she had many rocky parts to cover but by her own ability and unselfishness to others she has forged ahead and we are proud of her. It is most unusual to End in one girl three winning qualities which s-he conbines-good nursing. a cheerful disposition and excellent scholarship. Nothing but our very best wishes, Lynn, and may you lead others as well as- you have led us. it 2 fl -XJ .Magi Fortyfjive

Yes! hut a good friend, a fine nurse a better scholar is this lass. Mary possesses an .unquenchable en' thusiam to accomplish great things and with her dogged determination to finish everything she starts out to do, we know that she will succeed. Does aluminum burn? Ask Maryg she knows. Cheer up, Mary, all P. R. N. S. have had the same misfortune. The class sincerely hopes that the little boy in white will help you complete one of your greatest ambitions,-happiness. MARION JONES CONSHOHOCKEN, PIENNA. She loves, but knows not whom she loves. A shrug of the shoulders, upraised eyefbrows and monchalantly she walks on. That's Marion. Has any one seen her diferent? - Even an emergency in Mat does not increase her pace, yet she always accomplishes her purpose. Always! I She seems so indifferent to all excitement! but you should see and hear her when off duty. f? ? l lj-We wonder why Marion is constantly replacing a defective link in her chain of ad- mirers. She probably expects to make it perfect some clay by selecting the choicest one and dropping the rest. We predict a brilliant future for her even though it may be a Matrimonial one. Forty-six 4
