Teamwork in the best tradition is exemplified by Mrs. Baldwin helping john Melichar just as she has guided two generations of Horseheads students. n lt is not good that the man should be alone. -Genesis 2:18 TEAMWVORK has been essential to man- kind since the beginning of time. The Chinese symbol for it is pictured here. Yang and Yin, dark and light, are locked in a cirele, each shaped to the other. Thus is represented the C0- operation of opposing factors, man and woman, spiritual and material, Heaven and Earth. Man cannot live alone. God did not intend for him to live alone. Todav that same elusive spirit of getting along spells the dillierence between survival and destruction. This teamwork, cooperation-it means the same however you phrase it-is so vital that civilization is doomed if nations fail to co-exist. In our school life we prepare for our roles as citizens, both national and international, by learning to work together. Here we find coaches and teams pulling together, advisors and oflicers planning together, teachers and students learn- i p together, to acquire the fundamentals and to seek tljuth. XVhen people work together any- thing can be accomplished. And so we should like to picture some of the excellent examples we have found here in our school of this spirit of give and take called TEAMWVORK
