Early in the year codes of good sportsmanship were distributed to all students. Each month high ranking scholars were posted on the Honor Holl Board. In February. the members and the faculty sponsored a Sports, Night for the benefit of the Polio Fund and the school Athletic Association. Discussion groups were held to inform students of the New York State Scholarship Exams and the National Honor Society General Aptitude Tests.
