KENNETH BLAKESLEE 12,106 Q,.JsD-7w-1 lt is with the most sincere appreciation of all that he has done for us h S h l dl dedicate the l94l-9 that we, the Senior Class of Hornell Hig c oo , prou y MAPLE LEAF to one whom we esteem hoth as a teacher and a friend. ln our estimation, he is one grand person. Even when we were freshmen and sophomores, we admired his enthusi- asm and his pleasing personality. A friendly 6'Hi', from him meant much to us during our first years in high school. As juniors, we found in him an adviser whose guidance we valued highly. At that time, his interest in us supplied the encouragement we needed. Now that we are seniors, we value even more highly his friendship. It is because he has made us realize that 'cwe are here not to get all we can out of life for ourselves, but to try to make the lives of others happierv that we dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Kenneth Blakcslee. 4
