ALDIiRMAN In the past four years, we, the class of 1948, have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hornell High School. We came into our Freshman year as shy, awed youngsters who looked up to the Seniors as gods and goddesses. When we started our Sophomore year a more grown-up feeling overtook us. Our Junior year came and went very quickly. Putting on the junior Prom, the Junior Assembly, and junior Day was so much fun that we shall never forget them. Now we are Seniors. That day in September, 1944. on which we entered H. H. S. seems far away. It is with a feeling of sorrow that we leave behind four years of work and fun in Hornell High School. We would like to thank all of those who have made our high school career so successful and enjoyable. 15
