Tennis '76 One of the lesser known sports here at Horn Lake, but by no means less challenging is tennis. Being one of the smaller teams at school, it shares little of the prestige and glory of some of the larger sports, but the enthusiasm of the players well makes up for this. A challenging part of the game is that tennis is more of an individual sport than football or baseball and exerts more pressure on the individual player and requires dedication to the game. This year's tennis team was relatively young and consisted of several new members, but where their experience stopped, their eagerness to play started. Horn Lake was one of the least experienced teams of the region but did well at the District games. Small but mighty , it successfully showed its desire for a piece of the glory and upheld the Horn Lake tradition of winning. James Lusk
