ha., wk. 6, -, 1 Chess lub The newly organized chess club had its beginning this year. Sponsored by Miss Von Hofe, the Chess Club consists of fifteen to twenty members. Their purpose in forming is to learn how to play chess and to meet together for organized chess matches. They hope to continue the development of the Chess Club in the future years. Drug Council The Drug Council, consisting of six- teen members, had a very good year. Their activities included special train- ing on drug abuse, teaching younger students, judging the Drug Poster Contest, and providing literature on drugs. Their future plans include citi- zenship awards to active members of the club. The Drug Council hopes to continue its drug counseling in order to help more young people.
