'fin Order to Provide at More Perfect Union Whether they were making treaties with the Indians or meeting as a Conti- nental Congress, the colonists devel- oped skill at diplomacy in face-to- face confrontations of parties with often very opposite views. In demo- cratic fashion, ideas from the masses were passed on to governing bodies for action. Similarly, the, Student Council at HLS has worked together with the stu- dent body and the administration in order to improve school problems and activities. The Student Council spon- sored a Thanksgiving Day Fair in order to raise money for needy families. They provided a suggestion day for the students and promoted devotions in the mornings.
