S7P'9l .'10'kvWrYwAvi2u1hx-xv N... . CLASS PROPHECY As I sit here gazing into my crystal ball I see into the future of the senior class of ' 47 at Horn Lake, Mississippi. First, I see one of the most capable members of the class, You Know the one I'm speaking of. It is Janet White, of course. I see her behind a desk in Central High School in Dallas, Texas teaching geometry to about thirty students. Now I see very faintly another figure. Oh yes, it is plainer now, and it is Mary Elizabeth DuBard. She has always been good in commer- cial Work, and I see her as private secretary to the president of the United States. As this figure disappears I see a party in procession. Why of course it is at the Shackelford mansion where Mr. and Mrs. Billy Shackelford are entertaining the elite of'society. Mr. Shackelford is the owner of the Shackelford Sucker Company. Mrs. Shackelford is the former Mary Kate Von Boeck- man. As I gaze I see a beautiful green pasture. All of a sudden I see a figure in the distance. As I come closer the face looks famil- iar. I look again and recognize Louis Day. He is bent over a sick . H.: ..f,,,.
