fn ,0 VdASltj Ow!bCli«S BACK ROW s from left Henkes, Snvder, Not Present: Fishbain, Wrestling Baseball O ' Malley, Football Swimming; Cabush, FRONT ROW Tennis. from left Richardson, Stewart, Belden, Cross Country Golf Basketball Track Under the capable leadership of the eight varsity coaches, Horlick, the second largest high school in Wisconsin, has become a power in almost all of the nine varsity sports. This fine job of instructing can not pass without due praise. These teacher-coaches spend long hours after regular school hours and, in some sports, before school. Their Saturday and Friday eve- ning activities give way to games, matches, and meets. The job, however, does have its rewards as well. To see a boy develop into a trained athlete and to know that that boy learned his skills and competitiveness from the coach himself brings personal satisfaction. The coach may even mold one of these boys into an athlete of superior prowess in his field. At any rate we here at Horlick are proud of the capable leader- ship which these coaches have afforded us.
