Speaking is an important task of the A.F.S. student. . I Nothing can be more exciting for a high school student than living in a foreign country. It you doubt this statement, iust ask either Ulla Laur- sen, l-lorliclds student from Den- mark, or Simona Sheppard, who spent the summer of i960 in Swit- zerland. Both trips were made pos- sible by the American Field Service, an organization which not only plans the student exchange but contributes greatly to the cost of the trip. Simona lived in Switzer- land under the summer plan, and Ulla has attended school at Hor- lick during the past year.
