. . THRILLED QUEEN, WONDERFUL HOMECOMING. . The crowning of 1960 Homecom- ing Queen Corol Motogrono high- lighted ct week of funfilled octivities ot Horlick. Corol, bub- bling ond ecstotic, received the crown from footbc1ller-turned- prince-charming, Dove Azoriczn. The whirlwind week wos copped by the onnuol donce, reigned over by the queen ond her court. Court members, Judy Sukus, Melody Wohlust, Kothy Kottol, ond Sue Miller oided the queen in her duties cmd added sporkle to the festivi- ties. These homerooms won prizes for fiocitsz first ploce being cop- tured by homeroom 138, second place by 315, ond third ploce by 218. Homeroom 138 received 0 trophy donoted by the Flot Iron Businessmen's Associotion for their first ploce entry. Student spirit wcis high ot both the bonfire ond the gome but the Rebels lost the ut- terly contested scrop. Decorotions ot the dance creoted the illusion of 0 vctst footboll field on which the contest wos plciyed ogoin ond ggoin by the dance-floor quarter- bocks. The sophomores, who hove brought more thorn their shore of school spirit to Horlick, enhanced Scarlet ond Grey Doy by their lorge turnout in school colors. i 1
