SPOT LIGHTS The court consisted of Wanda Griepentrog and Robert Krueger, Susan Reible and Irv Curry, Ruth Jaquet and Ronald Ulrich, Eleanor Schwartz and Bill Erdman, Mary Ann Keel and Arnit Beske, Mary Persha and Gene Schwarze, Carleen Schultz and Dick Yanke The theme of the Junior Prom was nLet's Take An Old Fashioned Walk which was held April 22, 1950 Th gym was decorated with stone walls, flowered fences, and lamp posts Raye Block and his Orchestra furnished the music for the evening from an old fashioned bandshell The evening was climaxed by the crowning of Queen Heidi Scheidegger by King Donald Albert Joyce Karstedt and Ronald Marsh The annual mid winter ball was held on Jan 13 1951 The grand march was lead by Warren Wendt and his Queen, Wanda Griepentrog Their court consisted of Heidi Scheidegger Robert Keel, Susan Reible, Irv Curry, Joan Yasger, Don Peachey, Audrey Silverness, Milton Wille, Doreen Werner, Robert Krueger Marjorie Kirchoff, Charles Johns, Ruth Jaquet Ronald Ulrich, Joyce Karstedt, and Ronald Marsch The theme of the ball was Frosty, the Snowman The gym was decorated to fit the theme with Snowmen and evergreen trees Wally Beau supplied the music for this occasion Page 3h JUNIOR PROM a sm!! Donald Albert and Heidi Scheidegger ,C,arT?'9F 614o60n The Homecoming Dance of 1950 was held on October 20 Music was furnished by Wally Beau and his orchestra which helped to make the dance a big success The Grand March was led by King Ronnie and Queen Joyce with the Court of Honor that was made up of all the senior football men and their senior dates The crown bearers were Helen Peters and Robert Marsch With many attending and all enjoying themS01V0S: the aance was a huge success. The DAR is a good will committee to promote better citizenship in the United States. tiff 5 .ff Y Lorraine Greene, Justine Luebke, Audrey Silverness, Heidi Scheidegger. Front Row5E1eanor Schwartz, Susan Reible. Badger Boys' State was held on the Ripon College campus, and Badger Girls' State was held at the University in Madison. Their purpose is to teach good citizenship to Junior boys and girls representing most cities in the state of Wisconsin. J Mock elections were held for state, county, and city officers with all divided into either the Nationalists or Federalist party. Sports, band' and chorus help to round out the activity for the week. N7!X't, -Q Susan Reible The Honor Girls consisted of six Junior girls with the highest scholastic ratings.
