City noises and the wind merged in eerie comhinations. in the shadows a dark Figure stood. it puiied its coat around its shoulders and looked at the dark gym. The Figure sat sitentty and then htew its nose and wiped its eyes. it was sad. A lonesome horn hontced in the distant street hetow. The rattiing gym doors seemed to talk: UGrad-u-a-tion, grad-u-a-tionf, The htacic figure thought to itseit, Mitts att over. High schooi is finished. . . . So many peopie I wanted to know ....
