To many ol us this seems Iyar away. As yet we have not Ioolced too seriously at the Iuture. Xve have our dreams ol tomorrow, hut our actions show that we are primarily concerned with our daily allairs. Iiilce so many other grades in the school. our class has students who have come Irom all over the world. However, there are still some hardy souls to he found who have come aII the way through I'IIVI-I-. It was in the ninth grade that we saw the greatest numher ol new students enter our class. In the following two years, the oId and the new were well comlnined into the compound we call the class ol I46. WE LIKE TO WORK AND PLAY TOCETI-IER Xve have a strong class spirit. Xve Iilce to worlc and play together as Sl group. Isast year the whole class pitched in and helped paint and redecorate a nursery in Harlem. Xve got a Iot of satistaction lrom this undertalcing. Vvle have attended and participated in radio tbroadcasts, Foreign Policy meetings, and inter-school panels. Participating in these discussions has made us feel that there is a delinite relationship hetween the llth grade ol LIM- Lincoln and the rest ot the world. Every month and a hail' or so, we have a class party. Several times we have accomplished the seemingly impossilule Iny getting every Iuoy and girl to a party land theytve had a good time tool. OUR INTERESTS ARE DIVERSIEIED Xve have a strong individual and small-group spirit also. lor our inter- ests are diversiltied. Some ol us cIaim to he genuinely interested in intel- lectual pursuits, while others matic no such claims. A Iot ol us Ieel strongly atnout athletics and put our feelings into action. The Iyoys have tween well represented on the soccer team. This year our class scored over hall the team,s points. Qne ot our Iaoys set a new scoring record. The majority ol the tennis team are .Iuniors. Idaslcethall. modern dancing. and hoclqey have the greatest appeal lor the girls, who go in lor sports as earnestly as the tnoys.
