DRAMATICS CLUB The Drmnatics Club was reorganized this year. The first meeting was held September 19th in the auditorium. At this meeting officers were elected. They were as follows: Presi- dent, Pat Schulteg Vice-President, Lucy Berger, Secretary, Phyllis Hanseng and Treasurer, Twyla McFarlende On the evenings of March 9 and 10 the Dramatics Club presented a program of four one-act plays,The plays present- ed were, uLittle Darlin'ngnThe Devil and Miss Applebyng nl'm a Fbolng and nBalcony Scenen. NLittle Darlin'ng a comedy was directedty CharlesNewtcn. The play cast includedzhucy Berger, Leona Ringold, EvaNick- olscn, Twyla McFarland, Wilbur Hackett, and Ronald Pfcst. NThe Devil and Miss Applebyu a farce comedy was under the direction of Charles Rupe. The characters were: Joyce Hansen, Frankie Babb, Vhnona Froyd, Lester Hall, Rosalie Kiser, Lavaun Leuthold, Gene Carr, and Dean Miller. nl'm a Fbcln was a light comedy. It was under the direction of Bill Elem. The cast was: Virgil Woods, Dorothy Edwards,Doris Rogers, Kenneth Holmes, Carolyn Young- er, Tommy Davis, Dean Gard, and Bonnie Thorpe. nBalcony Scene' was a drama with both comic and tragic elementsu lt was under the direction of F. Jo Rybak. The characters includedzherm n Sallee, Burton Lyle, Pat Schulteg Annabelle Schneider, Milton Hanna,Wi1ma Randall, Mary White, and Bud Williamsq nBa1cony Scenenwas presented at the Tarkio Festival and at the Spring Contest at Maryville. The play received a Ulu rating at Tarkio and a nlln rating at Maryville.
